God’s gifts

During the 10.30 Sunday services at St Mark’s, children have a fantastic opportunity to learn with each other as they’re provided with additional teaching and activities outside the main worship area – this group is called God’s Gifts. The children chose the name, we believe children are a gift from God both to their individual families and to the wider church family.

In this group, we do various activities including singing, crafts, watching a DVD, acting games, reading stories and and we like to finish off with some time to pray together. The group is run by Christians who are equipped to answer questions from the children and help nurture their growing faith.

Children from school years R to year 6 attend this group, pre-school children can attend provided they are accompanied by an adult.

“I like being able to see my friends and doing all the fun things like playing prayer games, doing crafts, stories, singing songs and acting about worshipping.”
