We have reached the end of term and the school summer holidays!
During this time we’ll be moving into a season of all-age services at St Mark’s based around core values (or character strengths) that we can find in the Bible. These services will start on 27th July – our first one being led by Rev’d Denis Smith.
Our All Age services are not just for children but are a lot less formal – we hope you find them interesting and thought provoking!
Services at Immanuel will continue in their usual pattern with Holy Communion (BCP on the first and third Sunday) and Common Worship (second and fourth Sunday). Rev’d Pat Palmer will lead and preach at Immanuel on 27th July.
As usual, we will not be live-streaming our services over the summer period (from Sunday 27th July). Online services will resume on Sunday 7th September. There are alternatives if you are unable to join us in person. The Church of England’s national online service found here or the Sunday service from Winchester Cathedral here
Thank you to our dedicated team of Live Streamers who record our Worship each Sunday and make it available for those who cannot join us in person.
Thank you to our wonderful God’s Gift’s team who will now be taking a break from teaching our children for the summer. We hope you enjoy a time of rest and refreshment!
At our last all-age service of the summer on 31st August we will include a school bag blessing – so if you are a pupil, or work in education or are a governor we’ll be praying for you as the term restarts – do bring your school bag!!!
Please have a safe and glorious summer holiday!
