Tea Farmers and workers in Kenya – need our help!

This year’s Fairtrade campaign addresses a critical need for the UK Government to introduce robust human rights and environmental due diligence (HREDD) legislation for businesses.

In short, “the scales of the global tea trade are not tipped in favour of those growing and picking the leaves behind our cup of tea,” Fairtrade producers cannot compete on price and pay their own workers a living wage, while also struggling against the impact and future challenges of climate change.
