Selina’s baptism

We’re delighted that Selina has become a regular at St Mark’s Church over the past months, and it’s been great to get to know her a little better, along with some of her carers.

Selina would like to be baptised, but has requested that it is a low-key event. We’ve agreed that this will take place on Sunday 1st June after the 10.30am service. We look forward to welcoming Selina, her family and other sponsors to the earlier service, and we’ll then gather at the front of the church for the baptism afterwards along with a small group from St Mark’s to represent the wider church.

Do pray for Selina as she takes this step, that she is able to enjoy it and not feel overwhelmed. Do also chat with her about it. On the day we’ll kindly ask you to vacate the main worship space for a short while – so do be prepared for that!
