Things to look forward to in July!

There’s a lot going on in the coming weeks and we’d love to have you with us as we celebrate together!

Sunday 3rd July– 10.30am- Joint service at St Mark’s (and online) as Kim presides at communion for the first time. Followed by a celebration bring and share lunch. There will be no service at Immanuel this morning.

Sunday 10th July– 9am communion as usual at Immanuel, followed at 10.30am at St Mark’s by a baptism service for James (Ronnie’s little boy), Izzy (Sam’s daughter) and her cousin Piper. Izzy has decided to be ‘dunked’ so we will also be using the baptism pool! I’m pretty sure that this service will also be followed by cake! More info on those being baptised to come…

Sunday 24th July– Bishop David will be joining us for both services this morning. The 10.30am service at St Mark’s will be a confirmation- more details on those being confirmed to follow… and another reason to celebrate!

Sunday 31st July– we kick off our summer series exploring what Christians have to say about the often-discussed topic of wellbeing… all of the services at 10.30am at St Mark’s over the summer will be for all ages- perhaps an opportunity to bring a friend or neighbour along?

Over the summer we are aiming to have a recording of the service at Immanuel available online for those who join us this way at the usual time of 10.30am

Do pray for Kim as she prepares for her priesting and for those who are being baptised and confirmed.

Nicola
