Ordination Service at Winchester Cathedral – 7pm on 2nd July 2022

On Saturday 2nd July I will ordained at Winchester Cathedral.

Now you may have thought – you did that last year! And you would be right………..last year I was ordained as a Deacon (which is an outward facing servant role) and this year I will be ordained as a Priest (which is an inward facing priestly role). All those who have been ordained don’t stop being a Deacon throughout their ministry.

This year all those being ordained have been allocated a number of tickets for anyone who would like to attend the service at Winchester Cathedral. If you would to come along please let me know via the Parish Office. The seating isn’t reserved but the ticket will mean that you will have a seat. There are screens throughout the Cathedral and the service will still be live-streamed and recorded. I’ll put the link up on the website when this is confirmed.

On Sunday 3rd July there will be a Joint Service with Holy Communion, which I will lead for the first time. This will be followed by a “bring and share celebration lunch”. Watch this space for more details.

Please do continue pray for me as I take this next step in ministry and for the family too. You have all been brilliant upholding us all in prayer over the last few years!
